Your input is important to us. Per ASARCO Policy and MSHA regulations, you are still required to perform and record pre-operation inspection and a pre-shift inspection. If any safety issues are discovered, those issues should be promptly corrected. If the conditions cannot be immediately corrected, the area or equipment should be barricaded or tagged out/removed from service and a supervisor should immediately be notified.

This responsibility includes maintaining full compliance with applicable Federal and State Safety and Health Regulations and ASARCO Safety and Health rules, practices and procedures and other Safety and Health directives.
